Rumex crispus is a homeopathic remedy often used for violent, incessant dry coughs - worse on inhaling the least cold air. The patient may cover the mouth to keep the cold air out, with relief. Tickling in throat-pit causes cough. There is often a copious mucous discharge from nose and throat. The cough is aggravated by pressure, talking, and especially by inspiring cool air and at night. This homeopathic remedy is made from the plant commonly known as Yellow Dock.
